Quickstart
Send your first scheduled post across ten networks in five minutes — no platform approvals, no OAuth dance.
1. Create an account
Sign up free — you get a live workspace plus a sandbox workspace that starts empty.
2. Copy a key
In the dashboard, open API Keys. Use bsk_test_… against the sandbox and bsk_live_… against your real channels. All requests authenticate with a Bearer header:
Authorization: Bearer bsk_test_…3. List channels
curl https://api.buffersass.dev/2/channels -H "Authorization: Bearer bsk_test_…"{
"data": [
{ "id": "cha_9a1…", "service": "x",
"service_username": "sandbox_x", "schedules": [ … ] },
…channels you connect for testing…
]
}4. Create your first post
Omit scheduled_at to drop it into the next open queue slot for that channel — exactly like “Add to Queue” in Buffer.
curl -X POST https://api.buffersass.dev/2/updates \
-H "Authorization: Bearer bsk_test_…" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"channel_ids": ["cha_9a1…"],
"text": "Hello from buffer_sass 👋"
}'{
"data": [
{ "id": "upd_7c2…", "status": "scheduled",
"scheduled_at": "2026-11-09T17:30:00Z" }
],
"message": "OK"
}5. Watch it publish
When the scheduled time arrives, the update is delivered and flips to sent with metrics attached. Poll the queue, or — better — subscribe to the update.sent webhook.
You only pay for this moment
Quotas count successful posts — updates a network actually accepted. Failed deliveries, drafts and ideas are always free.Next steps
