Terms of Service
Last updated: November 8, 2026
1. The service
buffer_sass provides a unified scheduling and publishing API (the "Service") that lets you create, schedule and analyze posts across supported social networks. The Service includes a production surface and a sandbox environment for testing.
2. Accounts and keys
You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and OAuth tokens. Keep bsk_live_ keys secret; use bsk_test_ keys in sandbox. We may revoke keys that are leaked or abused.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to spam, harass, infringe intellectual property, or violate any network's terms. You must comply with the downstream platforms' rules for any content you publish through buffer_sass.
4. Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and metered by successful posts — updates accepted and published by a network. Failed posts, drafts, ideas, media processing and webhook deliveries do not count. Overage on paid plans is billed at the posted per-post rate for your tier.
5. Availability
We target 99.9% monthly uptime on Scale and best-effort availability elsewhere. Status and incident history are published at /status.
6. Data
You own your content and account data. We process it only to operate the Service. You may export or delete your data at any time from the dashboard.
7. Liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the 12 months preceding a claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms with 30 days' notice via email or the changelog. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
